I’m a sales engineer at Lokalise and I consult with developers nearly everyday about their localization workflows and our product. Lokalise’s out-of-the-box integrations with the most popular cloud repositories are powerful, but sometimes Devops needs more automation.
Cue CI/CD services like GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, GitLab CI/CD, and Bitbucket Pipelines. How devs can use them for localization: automated system syncs with their TMS, pre and postprocessing of strings, filetype conversion, AB testing, etc…
About the video
My ex-colleague and friend Anil Kumar Krishnashetty collaborated with me to develop a PoC for automating localization workflows using GitHub Actions and Lokalise. We built an example web page, internationalized it and then localized it using GitHub Actions and Lokalise’s CLI, all for the purpose of sharing our learnings with devs and localization professionals. So check out the video where we dig into the details and discuss more use cases from a high-level point of view.
